BBVA’s «Yo Soy Empleo» initiative has been selected to take part in the 2013-2015 campaign of Enterprise 2020, organized by Forética in Spain, within the themed area of Skills for Jobs.
The 57 initiatives selected as a whole will obtain high impact results in the coming years.
Within the Skills for Jobs area, over 13,000 people will obtain a job (nearly 3,000 of them young people), more than 5000 people will receive training to improve their employability, and nearly 600 projects by entrepreneurs will receive support to help them become established. «Yo Soy Empleo» is one of the 22 initiatives selected within this category.
«Yo Soy Empleo» is a BBVA initiative, launched last February, offering SMEs 3,000 euros for each permanent contract and 1,500 for each temporary contract. It was set up with the aim of creating up to 10,000 new jobs in Spain. It offers financial support to companies and self-employed people generating employment, and includes a training program in leading business schools and a full labor intermediation service.
