First newsletter from the Valores de Futuro educational program

Dear friend,

You may now access our first newsletter from the Valores de Futuro educational program, 2011-2012.

As you know, this BBVA initiative is aimed at children from 6 to 14 years of age and mainly encourages children to reflect upon and understand the value of money. The program is run via several workshops, concentrating on individual and group values associated with using money, including effort, solidarity, saving and responsibility.

In this edition of the newsletter we show the day-to-day workings of the program through the eyes of those taking part. We follow two students as they take part in one workshop, we listen to Ana Luis Correia de Aflatoun, we attend a training session given by a volunteer group on savings for everyone, and we interview Xavier Queralt, the BBVA Catalonia regional director.

We invite you to read the newsletter and follow our progress at Valores de Futuro.

Patricia Bueno, Director of Corporate Responsibility, BBVA Spain and Portugal

Valores de futuro es un gran proyecto para nosotros, para los colegios. Hay muchos recursos para tratar la educación financiera.
