BBVA has earned an honorable mention in the twelfth ‘AECA Award for business transparency’, in the category of listed companies in the Ibex 35, organized by the Spanish Association of Business Accounting andAdministration (AECA).
The BBVA Group Chief Financial Officer, Manuel González Cid, was presented today with the Good Governance and Shareholders Structure Forum Award for the bank’s investors and shareholders website due to its transparency and accessibility. “At BBVA we believe that transparency is a cornerstone of our management strategy and long-term commitment to our shareholders,” he said during the awards ceremony.
